Butterfly shots on film

Went to HortPark's Butterfly Garden in the morning and brought my Pentax MZ-7 film camera and DFA 100mm f2.8 WR macro lens. I used Kodak Portra 400VC. 

The rest of the pics are blur, since I used Aperture priority mode and never double checked the shutter speed being used. I miss Shake Reduction feature on my Pentax K-x DSLR :)

Monthly Pentaxian Outing : January

This outing was held on January 22nd at Chinatown, it was attended by 63 Pentaxians, perhaps the biggest Pentaxian outing so far.

I used Tamron SP Adaptall-2 70-210mm f3.5 and Revuenon 55mm f1.2 for this outing.

I bought this lens from pentaxforum's marketplace. From adaptall-2 website, it's said that this lens is the sharpest 70-210mm out there, sharper than 3 versions of Vivitar Series 1 (made by Komine and Kiron). At 200mm it's quite sharp wide open, it has beautiful out of focus rendering.

SMC Pentax K 135mm f2.5

One of the best 135mm lenses in Pentax lineup. It's tack sharp with good color rendition, and gives creamy bokeh.

 

Marina Bay Countdown 2011

Went to Esplanade at around 5pm, and wait 7 hours for the fireworks. Taken using Sigma 10-30mm F4-5.6 EX DC, at 10mm, ISO100, f9, and 1.5s to 4s.
